We came for just some chai but this place really reminded us of back home in Mumbai. They had all of the local Mumbai street nostalgically foods. From pav baji to all the different chaats. A lot of great Indian flavor ice creams. Their paan flavors were unique. The decorations of the restaurant was really nice with a place with chaarpais to sit and do ghup chup over some chai.

Walking into Mumbai Cafe felt like stepping into the heart of Bandra on a monsoon evening - warm people, lively atmosphere, and food full of flavor. I ended my meal with two icons of Indian street culture: paan and a classic gola. Let me just say it was a nostalgia laced knockout. The paan was perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy, transporting me straight to a buzzing corner of Juhu after a family dinner. And the snow cone? A rainbow hued bowl of crushed ice doused in rose and kala khatta syrup, just like the ones you'd chase down in the summer heat outside Chowpatty Beach. If you’re missing India or just curious about the real Mumbai street experience, this place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a passport.
